REQUIREMENTS:
An appropriate National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Senior and FET Phase with Maths literacy as a major subject/ Hospitality/ Engineering / or any equivalent qualifications plus teaching qualification.
Experience in teaching in the TVET Sector will be an added advantage.
Sound communication Skills.
Computer literacy.
SACE Registration.

DUTIES:
The scope of the Campus Manager’s work will include but not be limited to:
Reporting to the Principal on general governance and management issues, to the Deputy Principal Academic Programmes and Student Support Services on Academic Programmes and Student Affairs, and to the Deputy Principal Corporate Services on HR, IT, Administration, and Communication, as well as to the Chief Financial Officer on Finances and Supply Chain Management.
Implementing and monitoring policy.
Initiating new innovations that align with the Strategic Plan of the College and the TVET College Sector.
Ensuring quality assurance of learning delivery.
Promoting a culture of teaching and learning and ensuring all activities comply with relevant legislation, College policies, and the College strategic plan.
Guiding, supervising, and offering professional advice to all staff members.
Overseeing and monitoring staff capacity-building activities in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager.
Maintaining staff and student discipline.
Ensuring equitable workload distribution for staff members.
Ensuring proper utilization, maintenance, and security of resources, facilities, and grounds.
Overseeing and monitoring all examinations and assessment activities.
Being responsible for the smooth running of the Campus and ensuring compliance with requests from the Central Office and the Department of Higher Education and Training within stipulated time frames.
Overseeing and monitoring all administrative and financial activities.
 
Key performance areas:
The successful candidates will be required to lecture Maths literacy (NCV L2 to L4); Hospitality NVC L2 to L4; Engineering Mechanical (Report 191: N4 to N6); Electrical infrastructure Construction subjects L3.
Promote quality teaching and learning.
Monitor student performance.
Lesson planning and preparations.
Provide academic support to learners.
Create an environment that is conducive to learning.
Keep and maintain learner’s records and learner’s attendance records.
Monitor student performance.

Conduct practical training.
Create an environment that is conducive to learning.
Keep and maintain learner’s records and learner’s attendance records.
Set, conduct, and mark assessment tasks and provide feedback to students.
Perform examination-related duties.
Assist with additional support programmes.
Attend relevant training workshops and apply where necessary.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of study.
Support work-based placement and exposure for educators and learners.
