Minimum Requirements

CA(SA), CIA, CIMA, or an equivalent accounting, auditing, or finance qualification; CGEIT, CRISC, CISA, or an equivalent IT governance qualification; and/or LLB, Advocate qualification, or an equivalent legal qualification.

 

Experience and Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate:

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience at Executive Management level in Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Risk Management, Legal Compliance, and/or Information Technology Management. Proven experience within the public sector, including public entities and/or government institutions. Sound knowledge and understanding of internal and external audit processes. Membership or affiliation with a relevant professional body (advantageous).
