Position : Short Term Experts (3-positions)
Location : HEAD OFFICE, EAST LONDON
Reporting Line : ACCELERATION ACTION TEAM COORDINATOR
Programme : ADMINISTRATION
Duration : 4 MONTHS
Start Date : Immediately
The following 3 Short-Term Expert positions are available:
1. SHORT TERM EXPERT: PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT
Main purpose of the Position:
Develop and implement applied training and skills development programmes in Project Cycle Management.
Minimum requirements:
Educational
• Relevant post-matric Qualification, with Project Management qualification an additional advantage
Experience
• Years Learning, Training and HR Development experience
• Strong project management knowledge and subject matter expertise
Competencies Required:
• Excellent writing skills (Learning Interventions, Assessment and Moderation)
• Networking on various levels (work closely with team members, executive and external stakeholders)
• Analytical ability
• Teamwork
• Planning (ability key priority actions and respective activities)
• Leading (leading the capacity development process)
• Project Management Skills
Key Performance Areas:
• Research Development & Co-Ordination
• Project Participation
• L&D Programme Development, Delivery, Assessment and Quality Control
• Project Documentation and Reporting
2. SHORT TERM EXPERT: PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND TOOLS
Main purpose of the Position:
Development and consolidation of project cycle management (PCM) systems and tools
Minimum requirements:
Educational
• 3-Year relevant Business Management qualification
• Certified Project Management User
Experience
• Strong project management experience
• Strong programme and project design, planning, implementation management and M&E experience
Competencies Required:
• Excellent writing skills
• Networking on various levels (work closely with other key technical experts from national and provincial government spheres)
• Analytical ability
• Teamwork
• Planning (ability key priority actions and respective activities)
• Leading (leading the capacity development process)
• Project Management Skills

• Project Management & Leadership
• Stakeholder Management
• Team Management
• Project Documentation and reporting
• Research Development & Co-ordination
3. SHORT TERM EXPERT: ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE
Main purpose of the Position:
To direct and initiate transformation, to successfully drive and implement organisational redesign initiatives and deliver professional and quality services to clients.
Minimum requirements:
Educational
• B. Degree in human resource or related field
• Certification in Organisation Development
Experience
• 6 – 8 years’ experience as specialist in Change Management and Organisation Development
• Strong project management knowledge and subject matter expertise.
Competencies Required:
• Competent in knowledge and understanding of relevant policy and legislation
• Competent in understanding of institutional performance systems and performance management
• Knowledge of the public service and development agency environment
• Must be able to formulate field-specific master plans, project management and implementation
• An appreciation and understanding of organisation value chains
