POSITION: CORPORATE SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

Level: D4
 
Purpose
Reporting to the ED: Corporate Services, the Corporate Support Services Manager will lead and manage the Corporate Support Services in respect of Information Management & Communication Technology infrastructure, Information Systems, document control and Head Office facilities management section.
 

Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Computer Science / B Tech in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of System Administration, Database Administration, Network Administration and Web Development (Java Script, HTML and CSS)
  • Five years’ relevant experience in middle management.
  • Code EB driving license

Key Performance Areas
  • Management: Lead, manage and monitor Information Technology department, document control, Web & Intranet section. This includes responsibility for the architecture, hardware, software and networking of computers in the agency.
  • E-technological solutions: Conduct needs analysis to establish existing status and come up with e-technological document solutions that address improvement initiatives.

  • Strategy: Develop and implement an Information Management and Communication Technology strategy to address and automate, where possible, business process and service delivery requirements.
  • Facilities Management: Manage and monitor the Head Office space contract, ensuring safety and clean work environment, working conditions aligning complying with Health and Safety Act. Managing the relationship with the Landlord.
