SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST – 5 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Centre: HEAD OFFICE (EAST LONDON)
Level: C4
 
Purpose
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Procurement Specialist will ensure that procurement processes, especially for capital projects, are done in an effective and sufficient manner.
 
 
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-year tertiary qualification in Finance management or Purchasing management or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • 5 year’s relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Valid driver’s license.
 
Key Performance Areas
  • Demand Management: Scrutinise purchase recognitions to ensure compliance with ECPTA policies and develop specifications or Terms of References for all capital expenditure, (infrastructure related projects).
  • Acquisition Management: Prepare tender adverts and documents.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor and review all SCM processes to ensure adhering to all applicable regulations, circulars and policies.
  • Contracts Management: Ensure contracts are in compliance with applicable prescripts and laws.
  • Corporate Governance: Perform audit management responses and follow-up on action plans and provide input on the compilation of procurement plan.
  • Administrative support: Review of work done by the subordinates and provide advice, internally and externally, based on supply chain management matters.
