1. SENIOR MANAGER - MANUFACTURING AND AGRO-PROCESSING (5 YEAR CONTRACT)
GRADE 19 - (Total Cost to Company)
The Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) is seeking a dynamic individual with expertise in the coordinating growth in the manufacturing sector and agro-processing industry. The role will be responsible for driving manufacturing and agro-processing related investment opportunity packaging; project development and due diligence assessments; financing coordination; identification, packaging and coordination of value chain and clustering opportunities; linking of local producers to national and international value chains; as well as spearheading strategic projects implementation in manufacturing and agro-processing. Ultimately, the incumbent’s efforts should contribute to industry development, better sector performance, job creation and inclusive economic growth of the Eastern Cape Province. The successful candidate will report to the Executive: Economic Development and Sector Support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in commerce /agricultural engineering/industrial engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years work experience of which 5 years should be in economic development management, manufacturing or agricultural sector at middle management or senior consultant level.
- Project and programme management experience will be an added advantage.

2. MANAGER: STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & SPECIAL PROJECTS (5 YEAR CONTRACT)
GRADE 16 - (Total Cost to Company)
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will direct, lead and manage strategic and mission critical stakeholder engagements for the Corporation. The incumbent shall represent the ECDC in key development forums and platforms and shall be responsible for developing and overseeing an organisation-wide stakeholder management programme in support of the ECDC strategic objectives. Further, the incumbent shall assume responsibility for the design and management of stakeholder related special projects and shall be expected to assess stakeholder management risks and to implement mitigation measures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in arts, communication, public relations, social planning/community development, or related field
- 10 years’ working experience, 3 years of related management experience is required. Strong proven experience in mission oriented public and private sector stakeholder management.
