ASSISTANT MANAGER LEASEHOLD
PROPERTIES AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT – EAST LONDON GRADE 15: R740 800-R1 072 600 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY)
PERMANENT CONTRACT
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the leasehold properties function. The incumbent is also entrusted with managing various leasehold tasks, including general accounting, reporting, systems management, and administrative functions related to our leasehold. The role is also responsible for coordinating the ECDC’s leasehold portfolio in line with the organisation's financial sustainability and strategic mandate. The role also entails compliance and governance of the leasehold portfolio. The incumbent will also be expected to ensure efficient management of operations and processes within the leasehold properties function. Key responsibilities include financial accounting of rental revenue by ensuring accurate billing of rental revenue, receipting of rental payments and prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure valid financial reports which do not result in audit queries, determining monthly rental impairment calculations to establish accurate monthly impairment provisions, in lie with policy and legislation e.g., induplum interest etc, determining the monthly debt collection commissions payable and provide schedules to the debt collectors, collating annual information for AFS such as rent smoothing data to ensure that revenue is aligned to IFRS reporting standards and attend to all RFIs in respect of rental revenue / leasehold queries as well as providing financial oversite to leasehold properties by ensuring optimisation of revenue streams and minimisation of financial risks. The role is also responsible for assisting with drafting and reviewing key account leases for correctness and alignment with the organisational policies, and the agreed terms and conditions to ensure smooth processing into the property management system, assisting and providing support to the Senior Leasehold Manager with regards administration and financial queries relating to leases, managing the Rental Management system and participating in team development by training staff members on how to effectively use Rental Management system and assist with system queries
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Accounting, Financial Management, or Real Estate management.
- Five (5) years working experience in financial analysis and reporting or related area of which 3 years must be at supervisory level within the Property Management Environment.

ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR - HEAD OFFICE
TWO (2) YEAR - FIXED TERM CONTRACT DEVELOPMENTAL
POSITION GRADE - BETWEEN GRADE 8 AND GRADE 9
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting internal audits on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, by planning, executing and drafting Internal Audit Reports on Projects assigned. The role will further entail assisting with advancing and implementing auditing measures and proposing appropriate risk mitigating initiatives for the entire corporation; formulating the Internal Audit Plan and Programme development; and assisting with Subsidiary audit planning, execution and reporting. The Internal Auditing Assistant will also provide direct support to the Internal Auditor in undertaking audits of all systems against applicable laws, legislation, regulations and company policies and procedures in accordance with the unit 's audit plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma in Auditing/Accounting/ Internal auditing
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Internal Auditing.

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
PERMANENT POSITION - EAST LONDON
GRADE 13: R 564 000-R 801 600 (TOTAL COST TO COMPANY)
The incumbent will be responsible for the regular maintenance and administration of the ECDC LAN & WAN network infrastructure with a strong focus on domain security. The role involves ensuring that the network runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. The functions include designing, implementing, and maintaining the ECDC's network infrastructure, including hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and software (network protocols, operating systems, etc.). The incumbent will also be responsible for analysing network traffic patterns and optimising network resources to accommodate changing needs and usage patterns; Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's network from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats, implementing disaster recovery plans to minimize network downtime and data loss in the event of a network failure or disaster; Providing technical support to users experiencing network-related issues, such as connectivity problems, slow network speeds, etc.; Maintaining accurate documentation of the network infrastructure, including network diagrams, configuration details, and security policies as well as generating reports on network performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities to management and stakeholders.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma in Information Technology, Network Engineering and Security.
A minimum of three (3) years working experience of which two (2) years must be in Network Administration of a Corporate LAN & WAN of minimum 100 users.
