SENIOR MANAGER: FINANCIAL SERVICES
GRADE 18 (Total Cost To Company)
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will lead and manage financial services unit in order to ensure provision of efficient and effective financial and budget control in the ECDC based on sound financial principles.
 
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Performance Areas will encompass:
 Implement and maintain financial strategy;
 Financial control;
 Financial statutory reporting;
 Budget Management of Unit;
 Financial support to other Business units; and
 Departmental management.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 CA (SA); and
 10 years’ experience, 5 years at Senior Management.
 
Must possess the following competencies:
 Practical knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS and IFRS for small companies and IAS;
 Thorough practical knowledge of Management Accounting principles and calculations;
 Thorough knowledge of the Income Tax Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, NCA, FICA, King report and all other relevant legislation; and
 Basic knowledge of Base II/III
