Status of Position: 5-year renewable contract based on performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Masters or Equivalent qualification in Information and Communication Technology, or, Computers Science, or a relevant equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a senior management position leading ICTS management
    team.
  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in IT project management & implementation.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT Governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prior experience in the management of a major ICTS function in a corporate environment across the
    entire ICTS value chain.
  • Strategic background in the planning and management of the IT Strategy, Risk & Compliance function.
  • Prior experience in the management of ICTS programmes and projects.
  • IT Strategy, Risk & Compliance.
  • Management of control systems to minimize risk and improve compliance.
  • CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, ITIL and / or COBIT certifications, cybersecurity certification.
  • Implement, maintain and monitor DUT ICT Governance framework.
  • Implement, maintain, monitor and improve the ICTS internal controls framework.
  • Implement, maintain and monitor the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Implement, maintain, monitor and improve ICTS Risk Management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides a full range of high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Director which includes managing the diary.
  • Confirms daily schedule and work plan and arranges appointments in a time-effective manner.
  • Provides a variety of support tasks that may be highly sensitive and confidential.
  • Type correspondences, reports, and presentations, including layout and formatting.
  • Ensures the office of the Senior Director is properly briefed and familiar with the agenda in advance of all meetings.
