DEBTORS CLERK (TG 7)
SIX MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
MIN R15 217.33 MAX R 25 972.00 PER MONTH

The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of Debtors Clerk.
The Debtors Clerk will be required to recover an agreed level of client debt by successfully negotiating and agreeing repayment terms through planned and consistent efforts in accordance with ICC policies and procedures.
. The incumbent will report to the Finance Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Accounting and or Financial Management is essesntial
3 years’ relevant experience in a high pressured environment (with a company size turnover great than R100 million)
Experience with the MFMA requirements.

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
• Administer Accounts Receivable Ledgers
Administer Debtors Age Analysis
Follow up on client deposits in terms of collection of monies due pre-event, including follow-ups of established payments within the sales contract
Process deposits and refunds on the speed point machine provided that all relevant supporting documents and authorisations from the bank have been received
Allocate cash deposits into cash book in the ERP system
Follow up on unresolved reconciling items in Creditor’s Payment Group
Ensure that the debt age analysis schedule is circulated to senior management on a monthly basis
Accurately record parking income on a daily basis
Assist with speed point technical/software-related issues
Assist with the cash book and bank reconciliations
Assist with the Point of Sale revenue processing
Provide assistance to management in the compilation and analysis of data/reports. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Debtors ageing report and Quarterly finance committee reports

The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and facilitating all human resource functions within the Durban ICC.
The incumbent will report to the Chief Corporate Services Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant NQF level 7 qualification.
Experience
6-8 years’ experience in human resource management, with at least 3 years at Management level.
Two years’ experience in boards and or committees will be an added advantage
Experience in SAGE VIP Payroll
Extensive experience in HR Information Systems
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
Sound knowledge of LRA,BCEA, EEA, SDL, SAQA
Experience with representing the company at the CCMA
A good understanding of budgeting
Experience in human resource business partnering

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
Support the CEO and Executive Management to strategically plan, align and implement HR initiatives
Mange the implementation of the HR strategy and ensure alignment with the Durban ICC’s business plan
Develop, monitor and implement HR policies that are aligned to the business needs of the organisation
Manage the Recruitment & Selection strategy of the organisation and ensure compliance with internal policies and labour legislation
Manage the facilitation of human resource information systems to ensure organisational efficiency
Manage Employment Equity and monitor reporting in line with the Durban ICC’s employment equity plan
Manage the implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan and BBBEE to align with the training and development strategy
Develop a Talent Management strategy and ensure the successful implementation of succession planning and career development
Manage the Performance Management System and the integration of the performance management framework with talent management
Manage Employee Relations within the organisation and ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation
Manage the implementation of the Employee Wellness Programme and monitor the Effectiveness of the programme
Manage the Employee Value Proposition of the Durban ICC and ensure Organisational
Development Management initiatives are implemented.
