PROCESS CONTROLLER CLASS 3

JOB PURPOSE: 
Manage, coordinate and performs tasks and activities relating to the components and provide support to all the Water Treatment Works in the Drakenstein Municipal area. 
 
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST: 
• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science or equivalent NTC 2 (N2) (Water Purification) with Process Controller Class 3 Certificate (Potable Water Treatment) 
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: 
• Code EC Drivers’ licence & PDP, 
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, 
• Mechanical maintenance, 
• Computer Literacy (MS Office Applications). 
 
EXPERIENCE:
• 3 years’ relevant experience.

SALARY SCALE: 
TASK LEVEL 07 - Basic salary per annum is R178 100.96 - R231 180.60. Total Cost to Company R298 152.69 – R365 964.41 per annum. 
 
A service bonus equal to one month’s salary is payable and normal fringe benefits related to Local Authorities, subject to certain conditions. 
 
Note: Proof of qualifications and/or relevant documents required for the post as advertised must be clear and certified, in which certified copies must not be older than three (3) months.
