Millie Ramoraswi is an Official in the Department and the email address given her is not associated or you by her in any capacity. Scammers usually search for any credible name in any department in order to make their scam look legitimate. They will use any name that appears in official documents. BEWARE!!!



The escalation number of reported incidences has been observed by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR). Certain individuals, who pretend to be officials of DRDLR and fake manufacturers, collude with the disguised department’s representatives to defraud unsuspecting emerging businesses. 
The department is receiving numerous calls and emails from companies and businesses that have been defrauded of thousands of rands on daily basis. . 
A number of individuals and companies have lost loaned monies from the banks and their pension pay outs due to alleged fraudulent Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and orders supposedly from government departments.
The fraudsters operate by sending fictitious RFQs from what seems to be a government email address; with departmental letterheads, a fake logo and contact details of the contact person. They also usually pressure the unsuspecting service providers by giving a timeframe of five days to send quotations.
