CENTRE: Branch: National Geomatics Management Services
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12/Senior Certificate with Math’s and Physical Science. A minimum level 4, Higher Grade D or Standard Grade C on both subjects is required. Job related skills: Computer literacy, Presentation, Good interpersonal relations, Communication, Organise.
DUTIES: Acquire training in facilitating the process of technical examine services. Examine Diagrams. Examine general plans. Examine draft sectional plans. Acquire training in the dissemination of cadastral and topographical information. Retrieve, investigate and supply survey data to clients. Supply topographical maps and aerial photographs. Monitor and order stock/office copy of topographical maps and aerial photographs. Reserve parcel numbers electronically and or manually. Compile status reports for park and street closures. Acquire training in the capturing and maintenance of alpha and numeric data. Capture current diagrams and general plans and perform consistency check. Capture historic diagrams and general plans. Capture current and historical sectional titles. Capture current and historical survey records. Acquire training in scanning of cadastral documents, compiling, updating and maintaining of spatial maps and databases. Scan current diagrams and general plans and perform quality control. Scan historic diagrams and general plans and perform quality control. Scan current and historical sectional titles and perform quality control. Capture approved general plans and diagrams including servitude's and leases. Acquire training in maintenance and archiving of cadastral and related documents/records. Endorse proclamation of approved Township. Deduct and/or plot and/or endorse cadastral documents with registered land parcels, leases or servitude's. Endorse registered Sectional Titles. Amend approved cadastral documents. Archive cadastral documents and plans.
