The Information Regulator (Regulator) is a juristic person established in terms of Section 39 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) which enjoins the Regulator to be independent and impartial institution, and to perform its functions and exercise its powers without fear, favour or prejudice. It is accountable to the National Assembly and has jurisdiction throughout the Republic of South Africa. The Regulator is responsible for the promotion and protection of the right to privacy and right of access to information. In this regard, it exercises its powers and performs its functions in accordance with POPIA and the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) as amended. The Regulator consists of five (5) Members namely: The Chairperson and four (4) ordinary Members appointed by the President of the Republic of South for a five (5) year term. The Chairperson and two (2) ordinary Members are appointed on a full-time and the other two (2) Members on a part-time basis. Section 47 of POPIA empowers the Regulator to establish its own Administration and also appoint Staff which is led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as the Head of Administration and Accounting Officer, to support the Regulator in the fulfilment of its Mandate. The Head Office of the Regulator is situated at Braamfontein in Johannesburg. The Regulator is currently establishing its own Administration and hereby invites suitably and qualified candidates whose appointment will promote equity and representivity to apply for the vacant positions listed below.

SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

SALARY: R1 057 326 - R1 495 956 per annum (all-inclusive package)
The successful candidates will be required to annually sign performance agreements.
 
REQUIREMENTS
 Matric certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
qualification in related field rated at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 
 Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in middle management position managing the entire Human Resource Management (HRM) portfolio.
 Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures applicable in the public sector.
 Knowledge and experience of working on Persal (Proof of completion of the course must be attached).

REQUIREMENTS
 Matric certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or equivalent qualification in related field rated at NQF Level 7.
 Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an SCM environment at a junior management level.
 Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing Supply Chain Management in the public sector.
 Working knowledge and experience of Basic Accounting System (BAS) and Logistical Information System (LOGIS) or Justice Yellow Pages (JYP) or other financial systems (Proof of completion of the course or competence must be attached).

REQUIREMENTS
 Matric certificate and a Bachelor degree in Financial/Management Accounting or equivalent qualification in related field rated at NQF Level 7.
 Minimum of three (3) years in a financial/management accounting environment at a junior management level.
 Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures applicable in the public sector.
 Knowledge and experience of Generally Recognized Accounting Practices (GRAP).
 Working knowledge and experience of Basic Accounting System (BAS) and Logistical Information System (LOGIS) or Justice Yellow Pages (JYP) or other financial systems (Proof of completion of the course or competence must be attached).

 Liaise with internal and external auditors on behalf of the organisation to ensure that all audit findings are timely responded to and implement appropriate internal controls or corrective actions.

 Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in various HR administration at supervisory level (from Practitioner and above).
 Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing Human Resource Management functions in the public sector.
 Working knowledge and experience of Persal and any other applicable systems (Proof of completion of the course or competence must be attached).
 A valid Driver’s license.

REQUIREMENTS
 A Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification in related field rated at NQF Level 6.
 Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at HR Officer level performing various HR administrative functions.
 Working knowledge and experience of Persal and any other applicable systems (Proof of completion of the course or competence must be attached).
 Valid Driver’s license.

 Implement conditions of service and service benefits, i.e. (Leave, housing allowance, medical aid, Injury on Duty, long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pension contribution, etc.)
 Perform the termination of service of employees on the Persal system.
 Initiate various transactions on Persal in accordance with the Delegation of Authority Policy Framework.

 Knowledge of Legislation, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing Supply Chain Management in the public sector.

 Minimum of two (2) years’ experience of delivering goods/parcels for a company.
 Basic knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing the public sector.
 Basic knowledge of office administration and interaction with clients.
 Basic knowledge and understanding of courier or mailing services.

REQUIREMENTS
 Matric certificate or equivalent.
 Knowledge and experience of cleaning of corporate offices will be an added advantage.
 Basic knowledge of interaction with clients and customer service.
 Basic understanding of office administration.
 
KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Cleaning; verbal and written communication; reading skills to be able understand basic instructions of operating cleaning equipment; customer service and client orientation; planning and organizing; and interpersonal. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Cleaning of offices occupied by the Leadership, Executives, ordinary Staff of the Regulator.
 Cleaning of all the common areas and ensure timely replenishment of supplies in restrooms.
 Operate and maintain the cleaning equipment, electronic appliances, utensils and cutlery.
 Timely empty and wash waste bins.

 All the above-mentioned positions are permanent and appointment will be done in terms of section 47 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) as the enabling Act.
