SELECTION
 In the filling of entry level positions, preference may be given to unemployed youth / graduates, and / or who have successfully completed their respective skills development programmes, who satisfy the inherent requirements of the post and reside within close proximity to the office where the post is based. 
 Shortlisted Candidates will be subjected to an interview and technical assessment(s) (which assesses the Candidates’ demonstrated professional and technical competency against the job requirements and duties). 
 Candidates potentially considered suitable after the interview and technical test(s), will be subjected to a competency assessment (which tests the Candidates’ demonstrated proficiency in the professional dimensions attached to the level of the post); employment suitability checks (credit, criminal, citizenship, employment references and qualification verifications); and will be required to complete the online “Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services” course. SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT PRACTITIONER, REF NO: HRMC 51/22/1 
SALARY LEVEL : A basic salary of R321 543 to R378 765 per annum (Level 8). In addition, a range of competitive benefits are offered. 
CENTRE : Head Office, Pretoria, Branch: Finance & Supply Chain Management, Sub-Directorate: Contract and Tenders. 
 
REQUIREMENTS : • An undergraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management or related at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management environment • Awareness of the rights within the South African Constitution • Knowledge of State Tender Board Act 86 of 1986 and Regulations • Extensive knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) • Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework • Knowledge of the Provisioning Administration Procedure Manual (PAPM) • Knowledge of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework (PPPFA) and Broad- Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (BBBEE) • Understanding of departmental legislation • Honesty and integrity • Customer service focus • Record management , planning and organizing • Computer literacy (Ms Excel) as well as Secretariat services • A valid drivers’ license, willingness to travel and work extended hours when required.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, REF NO: HRMC 51/22/2

REQUIREMENTS : • An undergraduate qualification in Public Management / Administration or related at NQF 6 as recognised by SAQA • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administration is required • Experience in vetting will be an added advantage • Extensive knowledge of various filing systems • Knowledge of Office Administration methodologies • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes • Knowledge of the Public Service Regulation • Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulations • Knowledge and Understanding of Departmental Legislations and Prescripts • Computer literacy • Analytical thinking, planning and organizing • Problem solving, financial administration and customer focus • Good verbal and written communication skills • Interpersonal skills.
