The Department of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Public Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA) invite applications for the 2018 Cadet Learnership Programme.
This is a Youth Development Empowerment initiative that supports the National Development Plan's idea of formalised recruitment schemes that through theoretical training and experiential learning afford unemployed youth in South Africa the opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and experience whilst at the same time, positioning themselves for active and meaningful participation in the labour market. The Cadet Learnership Programme comprises of both theoretical and practical components aimed at training on the National Certificate: Home Affairs Services which exposes learners to the core business of the Department (Civic and Immigration Services). Preference will be given to youth who reside within close proximity of the office where the post is based.
Requirements:South African citizens only, aged between 18 to 35 years • A Grade 12 Certificate • A 3 year National Diploma / Degree at NQF Level 6 in Public Management/ Public Administration will serve as an added advantage.
