THE EMPLOYER

The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is as statutory authority, established in terms of Section 4 Act No. 4 of 1998 as amended, to regulate cross border road transport by providing an unsurpassed service through regulating cross border movements, facilitating resolution of constraints along the various transport corridors and borders as well as through effective law enforcement. Four key programmes constitute the focus of the C-BRTA. (1) Facilitation; (2) Research & Advisory; (3) Regulatory Services and (4) Law Enforcement. PURPOSE
Overall responsibility of working with stakeholders to integrate Environment Social and Governance (ESG) into business practices and culture and preparing reports Agency’s sustainability and ESG initiatives and activities. 
 
REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications: 
• Degree or NQF level 7 qualification in Environmental Management / Environmental Science / Environmental Law or related discipline 
• Integrated reporting specialisation / sustainability specialisation would be an added advantage 
 
Experience:
• 5 years’ experience in business sustainability and ESG environment 
• 3 years in supervisory position 
• Knowledge of the transport industry will be an added advantage 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 
The successful candidate will be expected to handle the following:
• Be responsible for development and implementation of the C-BRTA’s ESG strategy 
• Provide oversight for ESG progress and execution against targets 
• ESG programme management 
• Embedding a Sustainability culture across C-BRTA operations 
 
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS 
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities 
• Creative problem-solving 
• Effective communication 
• Data analysis and reporting 
• Ability to build Inter-relationship between the Agency and external stakeholders 
• A good understanding of how environmental concerns relate to material business risks and opportunities 
• Knowledgeable of the Transport sector

To provide services for, records and enable easy access to sources of information.
 
REQUIREMENTS 
Formal Qualifications: 
• A NQF 6 qualification in records management or related discipline. 
 
Experience: 
• 3 years working experience in records management. 
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 
• Develop and maintain records, records, and archive system for the Agency in line with the National Archives Act. 
• Implement records management strategy and policies. 
• Maintain standards, best practices, or system usage procedures. 
• Manage library and information centre. 
 
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS 
• Records management principles. 
• Information centre management principles. 
• Project management principles. 
• General administration. 
• Relevant and current best practices in records management, records management and information management. 
• Records of relevant legislation.
