To oversee the completeness, accuracy and validity of all receipts relating to permit receipts and to manage the banking office unit. To support the Revenue Manager in achieving the unit's objectives.
 
Job Description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
  • Daily Cash ups
  • Management of face value documents
  • Maintenance and improvement of internal controls
  • Processing and reconciliation sundry debtors
  • Process the additional revenue journals, credit notes, transfers, and refunds
  • Maintenance and clearance of the unallocated receipts list
  • Management of the banking office
 
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Planning and Organising
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and understanding of PFMA
  • Business and financial management principles
  • Statutory requirements e.g. financial, HR, Labour relations
  • Service Level Agreement framework
  • Operational policies and procedures

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant NQF 6 qualification in Accounting
Ideal:
  • B.Com (Accounting)
 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 years' experience at a financial accounting level.
