COUNCIL FOR GEOSCIENCE (CGS)
 
QUALITY INTERNS X2 (PRETORIA)
Position Status: Fixed Term Contract: 24 Months
Salary: R 13 000 Per Month
Location: Pretoria (Head Office)
Reporting Line: SHEQ Manager
 
Overall Job Purpose:  To provide support in the establishment and implementation of an ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality management systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development and review of ISO 9001 and ISOv17025 quality management systems documentation.
  • Participate in quality inspections and audits.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
  • Compliance with organisational requirements demonstrated by the successful completion of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 training.
  • Liaise with staff from other Business Units on quality related matters.
  • Provide quality assurance and control on project tasks and analytical test methods to ensure they are executed in accordance with the Project Execution Plans, procedures, relevant stakeholder and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in test methods validation.
  • Participate in analysis of various proficiency testing reports.
  • Analyse, verify and validate records to meet relevant statutory, regulatory and stakeholder requirements.
  • Participate in and attend relevant applicable workshops and training courses.
  • Assist with relevant SHEQ Business Unit activities and ad- hoc duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 3 year National Diploma preferably in Quality Management.
  • A Degree will be an added advantage.
