Performance Management Specialist
Job Grade: P7 
Ref No.: M010001
 
Job Purpose:
To effectively manage and implement the performance management and reward and recognition framework within the CIPC.
 
Key performance areas:
  • To implement the performance management and reward and recognition system within the CIPC;
  • To monitor the implementation of the performance management system, identify trends and improve the efficacy of performance management in CIPC;
  • To provide technical support to divisions in implementing the performance management system;
  • To assist in the management of the business unit;
  • To ensure the proper administration, governance and risk management of the sub unit;
 
 Applicants may, as a step in the recruitment process, be subjected to a competency assessment. In addition, the successful candidate must be prepared to undergo a process of security clearance prior to appointment.
 
Qualifications and SA citizenship checks will be conducted on the successful candidate. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
 
It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by CIPC.

Requirements
Required Minimum Education/training:
 National Diploma/ B. Degree in Human Resources Management / Public Administration
 
Required Minimum Experience:
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in performance management and reward and recognition
  • Experience and knowledge of Sage 300 People will be an added advantage

  • To implement and maintain the CIPC’s remuneration strategy;
  • To monitor the implementation of the remuneration strategy, identify trends, and improve the efficacy of the remuneration strategy;
  • To provide guidance and support to divisions and employees in relation to remuneration matters;
  • To build and manage a strong team and ensure adherence to all relevant human resource policies;
  • To assist in the management of the business unit;
