COMMUNITY SCHEMES OMBUD SERVICE (CSOS)
The Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (Act 9 of 2011) was promulgated on 11 June 2011 and provides for the establishment of the Community Schemes Ombud Service (“CSOS”) as a public entity. The CSOS has been classified as a Schedule 3A Public Entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (Act No.1 of 1999) (PFMA).

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: BUDGETING, PLANNING AND REPORTING X2
(Ref. CSOS/SABP/01/24)
This position reports to the Manager: Management Accounting and offers a total cost to company package of R865 173.96 per annum
Requirements
• Finance related Degree or National Diploma (NQF6/7)
• 3-5 years relevant experience in Finance
Key Performance Areas
• Support the budget planning process, budget implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Compilation of Accurate & Grap compliant Annual and Quarterly financial statements.
• Preparation of quarterly public entity reports to be submitted to National Treasury.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement the relevant policies, procedures, and Operating level agreements.
