COMMUNITY SCHEMES OMBUD SERVICE (CSOS)
 
The Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (Act 9 of 2011) was promulgated on 11 June 2011 and provides for the establishment of the Community Schemes Ombud Service (“CSOS”) as a public entity. The CSOS has been classified as a Schedule 3A Public Entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (Act No.1 of 1999) (PFMA). 
 
SENIOR MANAGER STRATEGIC PLANNING, MONITORING AND EVALUATION 
Head Office (Ref. CSOS/SMSPMAE/05/23) 
This position reports to the Executive Organisational Strategy and Performance and offers a total cost to company package of R 1 284 085.00 per annum.

Requirements
• Degree in Business Management or Business Administration or Public Administration/Management. 
• BTech in Business Management or Business Admin. Masters (NQF 9) or similar in Public Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Planning will be an added advantage. 
• 7 years Strategy Development and Performance Monitoring experience preferably in a public entity. 
• 5 years leadership experience. 
• 3 years of Public Sector experience. 
 
Key Performance Areas 
• Implement the Corporate Strategy and strategic initiatives through CSOS. 
• Institutional performance monitoring and evaluation. 
• Regularly reassess the efficiency of business processes related to work acquisition. 
• Developing 5 years strategic plan and 3 years Annual Performance Plans. 
• Coordinating the development and ensure timeous submission of the four quarterly performance reports and Annual report. 
• Facilitate and coordinate performance review sessions. 
• Develop guidelines and procedures for strategic, operational planning and reporting.
