Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• minimum of 3 to 5 years driving experience, valid driver’s license and Public Drivers permit.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in computer literacy.
• Must be a South African citizen.
 
Key Performance Area
• Ensure that the administrative support is rendered.
• Manage basic office administrative work and mail management (deliver important documents to required destinations,
• ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipient).
• Maintain and reconcile trip records and related tasks.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained at all times, perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicles.
• Perform other duties as required. Should be able to work under pressure.
• Be willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities
Duties:
• Render secretarial services and administrative support.
• Render general reception services. Exercise control over financial resources.
• Take minutes and arrange time and venues for meetings.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and subsistence allowance.
• Coordinate effective communication between the HOD and PM and personnel.
• Effectively manage the documentation of personnel in the department. Manage the effective and professional production of documents.
• Effectively manage the organizational and implementation of all departmental activities.
• Perform other related duties as requested
 
Qualifications
Requirements:
Grade 12 with post matric qualification in Office administration or equivalent qualification. Minimum of four years relevant work experience. Computer literacy.
 
Competencies required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Sound Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Proficiency in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook: e-mail & internet. English and one or more official languages.

Description
LEGAL OFFICER X 1
Level 10 - Salary R527 298.00 per annum
Centres: Free State Provincial office
 
Responsibilities
Duties: Handling complaints lodged by the public or members of the communities to
the CGE, referring matters to the Equality Court and litigate in Equality Court on behalf of complainants, monitoring the operation and functioning of Courts in the Province, conducting investigations on complaints lodged with the CGE, conducting mediation for the purposes of resolving dispute between the parties. Drafting inputs from Gender Perspective on the proposed Provincial Legislation or Law reform on behalf of CGE, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, forging a good working relationship with the internal and external stake holders for the implementation of the Annual Performance Plan, reporting challenges regarding complaints handling to the Provincial Manager and to the HoD Legal, and to perform any other duties as may be requested from time to time by the PM or HOD. Liaise with the courts personnel in the matters referred by the CGE. Identify issues on systematic complaints in consultation with Head of Department for purpose monitoring and litigation. Report writing.
 
Qualifications
Requirements: B. Proc or LLB degree, LL.M will be advantageous. Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court, with a minimum of three years post admission experience, knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Experience in Human Rights law litigation, extensive knowledge of the operations of Equality Courts. Sound understanding of Gender Issues.
 
Competencies required: Knowledge and experience in constitutional litigation and court processes. Knowledge and experience in mediation and conciliation processes. Being a trained mediator will be advantageous. Legal Research experience, analytical skills & sound knowledge of gender related issues and mandate of CGE. Excellent writing, verbal, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently in complaints processing. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Knowledge of at least one African language. Ability to draft reports sound in law.

Responsibilities
Duties: Conduct research work, including research data gathering through project field work; conceptualisation of research projects and other research related activities; participation in the implementation of the Research Department’s Annual Plan of Action; Carrying out activities and function related to the administration and conducting of the Research Department projects; Participation in various departmental activities, including workshops and seminars to make presentations on research findings; contributing to public debates on gender related issues, including making inputs into internal and external policy processes on gender related issues as and when necessary. Liaise with CGE stakeholders. Perform other activities related to the work of the Research Department as assigned by the Head of Department.
 
Qualifications
Requirements: A Master of Arts (MA) Degree qualification in the Social Sciences or any other Behavioral sciences qualification is a basic requirement. A minimum of three years demonstrable research work experience on gender related issues and a demonstrable professional report writing experience with a publications record are key requirement. Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to strict deadlines. Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential. Ability to work individually and as part of a team is crucial, including readiness to travel extensively throughout the country to conduct research work.
 
Competencies required: Sound knowledge of gender issues and familiarity with the mandate and the work of the CGE. Project management skills; analysis skills; typing skills; research field and data gathering skills; computer literacy & demonstrable knowledge and experience in the use of relevant social science data gathering and research methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including research report writing and presentation skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to speak at least one African language will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Area
• Provide daily support and act as the first reviewer of work produced.

• Ensure minute logs and action list of sub-committees are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner as required.

INTERN: HR Intern - 12 Months Contract
 
Responsibilities
Key Performance Area
• Assist with general office duties/dealing with HR related queries.
• Resolve issues relating to benefits (completion of the medical & pension fund documentation - registration of dependents, nomination of beneficiaries, medical cancellations)
• Develop and Maintain HR Compliance Knowledge
• Regularly update HR information databases.
• Send job offer letters to the candidate / agency.
