COMMISSION FOR GENDER EQUALITY (CGE)
The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) is an Independent and statutory body established in terms of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa (1996). The CGE is committed to a society free from gender oppression and all forms of inequality. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Salary: Level 7: R276 268 per annum
Centre: Free State Province
Requirements: Grade 12 with post matric qualification in Office administration or equivalent qualification. Minimum of four years relevant work experience. Computer literacy certificate.
Competencies required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Sound Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Proficiency in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook: e-mail & internet. English and one or more official languages.
Responsibilities: Render secretarial services and administrative support. Render general reception services. Exercise support on the management of financial resources. Take minutes and arrange time and venues for meetings. Coordinate travel arrangements and subsistence allowance. Coordinate effective communication between the HOD and Provincial Managers and personnel. Effectively manage the documentation of personnel in the department. Manage the effective and professional production of documents. Provide administrative support to all provincial activities, including liaison with head office. Perform other related duties as requested.

Background checks will form part of the selection process. Competency assessment tests may be administered to shortlisted candidates as part of the selection process. The CGE reserves the right not to fill these advertised positions.
