The KwaZulu-Natal Province – Richards Bay Office has a vacancy of a Receptionist.

Purpose:
To provide a professional reception service in welcoming CCMA visitors and directing them to the correct Departments in order for them to conduct their business efficiently. To respond to internal and external calls, take messages and channel calls to the appropriate persons.

Key Performance Areas:-
• Reception & Switchboard Management
• General Office Administration.

Key Requirements:
• Grade 12
• 2 – 3 years’ experience as a receptionist/switchboard operator in a professional/corporate environment.

LEGAL OFFICER: LITIGATION (12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

The Corporate Services department has a vacancy for Legal Officer: Litigation on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Purpose
To enhance the delivery of timeous and quality services of the Legal Services Unit of the CCMA by providing support to the Litigation sub-unit within the Unit.

Key Performance Areas:-
• Management of Reviews and other litigation processes
• Court Appearances
• Drafting and service of Instructions and Legal Documents
• Litigation Administration
• Reporting
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:
• LLB degree or equivalent
• Admission as attorney preferable
• 1-3 years’ relevant working experience in a Legal environment
• Functional knowledge of the South African Labour Law

ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

The National Office has a vacancy for an Acquisition Specialist.
 
Purpose
To administer the bid process and source goods and services for the CCMA in compliance with Supply Chain Management Policies and Procedures.
 
Key Performance Areas :-
  • Bid Process Administration; Efficiently coordinate and administer all aspects of the bid process, from initiation to award. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
  • Sourcing of Quotes; Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential suppliers. Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Placing Orders; Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential suppliers. Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Supplier Performance Evaluation; Establish and maintain a robust system for evaluating supplier performance. Provide feedback to suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Supply Chain Management Compliance; Stay updated on SCM policies, regulations, and industry best practices. Guarantee adherence to compliance standards throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Provision of Demand Management; Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and forecast demand. Develop strategies for efficient demand planning and procurement plan management.
  • Provision of Contract Management; Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring terms are met and risks are mitigated. Collaborate with legal and finance teams for contract reviews and approvals.
  • Reporting; Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities. Provide regular updates to management on procurement status and potential areas for improvement.
 
Key Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or other relevant qualifications.
  • 2 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields of which 1 year is in the public sector.
