The ICT department has a vacancy for a System Engineer: Infrastructure Solutions.
Purpose: To work directly with the ICT Technical and Operations Manager in designing, implementing and maintaining CCMA ICT infrastructure. To take responsibility for specific aspects of ICT Infrastructure as directed by the ICT Manager in networking solutions design, implementation and support.
Key Performance Areas:-
- Ensure uptime of WAN and LAN Infrastructure
- Design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WLANs, WANs, internet, SDWAN implementations and cloud networks
- Configures, deploys and manages network devices such as routers, HP switches, firewalls i.e FortiGate, load balancers and wireless solution
- Implements and enforces network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPNs.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex network issues, utilising advanced troubleshooting techniques and network monitoring tools.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures
- Manage cloud network services, application and container networking, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, implementing VPCs and security for established network architectures of cloud implementations.
- Manage MS Azure services designs that include – Express Routes, VNets, Network Gateways, Application Gateways, IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
- Manage Linux platforms.
- Conduct Backup & Restore and disaster recovery methodologies.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant Degree / National Diploma in Computer science /IT
- IT Professional qualifications an added advantage
- 5 years’ experience in ICT – network administration

PART-TIME INTERPRETER (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

The Eastern Cape Province – Gqeberha Office requests the service of a Part Time Interpreter.
Purpose: To assist the CCMA Commissioners and structures by providing interpreter services to facilitate successful outcomes of CCMA activities.
Key Performance Areas:-
- Verbal interpretations during hearings.
- Administrative support functions.
Key Requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Relevant certificate NQF 5 (Communication/Languages)
- One (1) to three (3) years relevant working experience as an Interpreter
- At least three South African languages (Oral/Read/Write)
Languages: IsiXhosa, English and Afrikaans
