MANAGER: PLANNING AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING

The Governance and Strategy Department, in the National Office, has a vacancy for a Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring.
Purpose: Utilising appropriate strategic management tools, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to manage the CCMA’s planning processes, both at a strategic and operational level, ensuring that in the delivery of the CCMA’s vision, mission and mandate, there is in place an approved Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring to ensure that Departments and Provinces are operating on approved Operational Plans. Moreover, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to facilitate performance information reporting (quarterly and annually) and performance monitoring and evaluation processes of the CCMA, including conducting mid and end-term impact assessments.
Key Performance Areas:-
• Conduct strategic forecasting and situational analysis
• Facilitate strategic planning (Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan)
• Coordinate annual operational planning (Departmental and Provincial Operational Planning)
• Lead organisational performance monitoring (Strategic and Operational)
• Conduct mid and end–term impact assessments
• Produce performance information dashboards
• Produce quarterly consolidated/integrated performance reports
• Lead the production of the annual report project
• Unit Management including people management and budget management
Key Requirements:
• Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (Social Sciences/Developmental Studies/Public Administration/Public Management/BCom)
• Postgraduate qualification in business administration, public management, strategic management or monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation, with 3 years at managerial level. Advanced practical knowledge and practical experience in using strategy and performance management tools
• Advanced knowledge of planning and performance monitoring frameworks and guidelines governing the CCMA as a public entity
• Good understanding of legislations and policies applicable to the CCMA as a public entity
Demonstration of the ability to manage a team and manage big projects

• Degree in Public Management, Developmental Studies, Administration, or Social Sciences or Economics or Commerce or equivalent experience in strategic and operational planning and performance monitoring.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
• A practical knowledge and practical experience in using strategy and performance tools.
• A knowledge of planning and performance monitoring frameworks and guidelines governing the CCMA as a public entity
• Good understanding of legislations and policies applicable to the CCMA as a public entity

CASE MANAGEMENT OFFICER X2
Gauteng Province – Ekurhuleni Office

The Gauteng Province – Ekurhuleni Office has vacancies for two (2) Case Management Officers.
Purpose
To effectively and efficiently handle queries and assist the public with regard to appropriate processing procedures, screening of cases in terms of relevant legislation and CCMA guidelines.

• Case Advice
• Case Screening
• Case Capturing
• Schedule and screen documentation
• Process outcome and finalise cases
• Venue Administration
• Pre-Conciliation
Key Requirements:
• Unless a candidate can demonstrate suitability through relevant experience of not less than three (3) years in Employment Laws, Trade Union environment/Bargaining Council/Labour Inspector or
Human Resources role, a Matric and Diploma in Labour Relations (or relevant equivalent) with one (1) year of practical experience will be required
• One (1) to three (3) years relevant working experience in a case management service Employment Laws, Trade Union environment/Bargaining Council/Labour Inspector or Human Resources role
• At least 2 African languages would be an advantage
