The North West Province – Rustenburg Office requests the services of a Part Time Interpreter.
 
Purpose: To assist the CCMA Commissioners and structures by providing interpreter services to facilitate successful outcomes of CCMA activities.
 
Key Performance Areas:-
  • Verbal interpretations during hearings.
  • Administrative support functions.
 
Key Requirements:
  • Matric Certificate
  • National Diploma in Labour Related Qualification.
  • 1 year experience
  • Knowledge on latest legislation/ amendments.
 
Languages: SeTswana, isiZulu, isiXhosa and English.

OFFICER: FRAUD AND ETHICS
National Office

The Governance and Secretariat Services Unit has a vacancy of Officer: Fraud and Ethics.
 
Purpose
To uphold the highest ethical standards at the CCMA by ensuring compliance with laws and policies, preventing fraud and corruption, and managing the declaration and handling of gifts.
 
Key Performance Areas:-
  • Develop and implement the Annual Fraud Prevention and Anti-Corruption Strategy.
  • Participate in regular fraud risk assessments and manage the Fraud Risk Register.
  • Monitor and oversee compliance with policies on conflicts of interest, extraneous employment, gifts, donations, and sponsorships, amongst others.
  • Offer advisory services on ethical issues and manage the CCMA Fraud Hotline.
  • Provide fraud and ethics training and conduct awareness programs.
  • Embed a culture of good corporate governance.
  • Ethics, Fraud and Anti-Corruption Reporting.
 
Key Requirements:
  • B-degree in Commerce / Law, Corporate Governance / Risk Management and Compliance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Ethics Officer or in a similar role.
  • Ethics Officer Certification Programme (EOCP) or equivalent. (Preferred)
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills.
 
Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of ethical principles, legal requirements, and anti-corruption practices.

  • Knowledge of general administration and business improvement principles:
  • Knowledge of MS Office programmes

MANAGER: PLANNING AND PERFORMANCE MONITORING

The Governance and Secretariat Services Unit has a vacancy of Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring.
 
Purpose
Utilising appropriate strategic management tools, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to manage the CCMA’s planning processes, both at a strategic and operational level, ensuring that in the delivery of the CCMA’s vision, mission and mandate, there is in place an approved Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring to ensure that Departments and Provinces are operating on approved Operational Plans. Moreover, the Manager: Planning and Performance Monitoring is to facilitate performance information reporting (quarterly and annually) and performance monitoring and evaluation processes of the CCMA, including conducting mid and end-term impact assessments.
 
Key Performance Areas:- 
  • Conduct strategic forecasting and situational analysis
  • Facilitate strategic planning (Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan)
  • Coordinate annual operational planning (Departmental and Provincial Operational Planning)
  • Lead organisational performance monitoring (Strategic and Operational)
  • Conduct mid and end–term impact assessments
  • Produce performance information dashboards
  • Produce quarterly consolidated/integrated performance reports
  • Lead the production of the annual report project
  • Unit Management including people management and budget management
 
Key Requirements:
 
  • Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (Social Sciences/Developmental Studies/Public Administration/Public Management/BCom)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Public Management, Strategic Management or Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation, with 3 years at managerial level.
  • Advanced practical knowledge and practical experience in using strategy and performance management tools
  • Advanced knowledge of planning and performance monitoring frameworks and guidelines governing the CCMA as a public entity.
  • Good understanding of legislations and policies applicable to the CCMA as a public entity
