PART-TIME INTERPRETER (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

Rate Per Day: R970.84

The Eastern Cape Province – Gqeberha Office requests the services of Part Time Interpreter.

 

Purpose: To assist the CCMA Commissioners and structures by providing interpreter services to facilitate successful outcomes of CCMA activities.

 

Key Performance Areas:-

  • Verbal interpretations during hearings.
  • Administrative support functions.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Relevant certificate NQF 5 (Communication/Languages)
  • One (1) to three (3) years relevant working experience as an Interpreter
  • At least three South African languages (Oral/Read/Write)

 

Languages: Must be proficient in any three (3) of the following languages: English, IsiXhosa and Afrikaans.

JUNIOR SUPPORT ENGINEER

National Office

Post level: 10

The National Office -ICT department has a vacancy for a Junior Support Engineer.

 

Purpose: To assist users with general IT-related technical support, both onsite and remotely, by determining the nature of reported issues, diagnosing hardware and software faults, providing effective resolutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires the ability to critically analyse symptoms, diagnose faults, and plan and execute appropriate corrective action across a range of equipment, including PCs, laptops, printers, and networking devices.

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide first and second level support
  • Trouble shooting and resolution
  • Installations and repairs
  • Support services to internal and external stakeholders incl. bargaining councils

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
  • 2-3 years’ experience in both first and second level support
  • Experience with ant-virus, anti-spyware and anti-spam applications
  • Knowledge of technology management
  • Knowledge of compliance orientation
  • Knowledge of hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and desktop software.
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot network services and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.);
  • Knowledge on Cloud Computing concepts
