​MANAGER: TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATE SERVICES – HUMAN CAPITAL SOLUTIONS – NDPW ACADEMY

 
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Training Development Manager is accountable to the Unit Head: Human Capital Solutions of the Coega Development Corporation with regards to the following:
  • Develop and implement HCS socio-economic strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall CDC strategy.
  • Research and develop Training and Development Solutions and Proposals to support HCS’ socio-economic mandate.
  • Project Manage and evaluate training and development programmes aligned to HCS’ socio-economic mandate.
 
MANDATE
The Training Development Manager is mandated by the Unit Head: Human Capital Solutions (HCS), to take responsibility for adding value and making a meaningful contribution to employees and line managers inside the company, and to customers, communities, partners, and investors outside it.
 
DESCRIPTION
The Training Development Manager will be required to play a key leadership role in supporting initiatives to enhance HCS’s core mandates of revenue generation and achievement of socio-economic transformation.
 
The responsibilities for this post are summarised as follows:
  • Implement the human resources development project requirements in line with the HCS Annual Business Plan in consultation with the Unit Head: Human Capital Solutions
  • Conduct sector training needs analysis and make recommendations and / or proposals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to HCS programme teams with respect to training and development requirements on their projects.
  • Continually research current and emerging socio-economic human capital development requirements and propose solutions as and where needed.
  • Act as a change agent by helping HCS management in designing and implementing change strategies to contribute to optimisation of HCS human resources.
  • Support Training Service Providers to ensure effective roll-out of training initiatives, in support of HCS’s socio-economic mandate.
  • Develop and nurture stakeholder relationships in support of HCS’s socio-economic mandate.
  • Report to / liaise with various internal and external stakeholders in support of HCS’s business priorities.
