KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform tasks with the operation of heavy specialised mechanical plant (EG Grader, TLB, Front End Loader, crane truck, Bulldozer, concrete mixer) and vehicles (Tip Trucks etc) during road and storm water drainage maintenance.
Perform tasks at the Depot and worksite prior to and on completion of allocated maintenance assignment in order to ensure that instructions and departmental procedures are complied with Occupational Health and Safety rules are adhered to enabling uninterrupted functionality and the accomplishment of productivity targets.
Completes internal transactional documentation (tally sheets, log sheet, progress report etc and related forms (vehicle checklist) in order to ensure that details of activities are accurately recorded enabling the process personnel, time and material allocation and utilisation for specific assignments.
