Designation: Deputy Director: Management Support 
Salary Range: R50 238.79 pm (basic salary excluding benefits) 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Public Administration/Business Leadership or Business Management or equivalent (NQF level 7). 
 Post graduate qualification in Public Administration/Business Administration/Business Leadership or related field is preferred. 
 7 – 9 years’ experience at a Senior Management level in a large enterprise. 
 Proven track record of providing a strategic support service at an executive or similar level. 
 Comprehensive understanding and involvement in the SDBIP processes. 
 Experience in compiling strategies and managing budgets. 
 Previous experience in National/Provincial/Local Government Policy Legislation and protocols would be an added advantage.

Primary Function: To ensure the provision if services such as strategic/business planning, analytical assessment, financial management, human capital management, performance management, administrative support and transversal business solutions to enable the Regional Director and Deputy Directors to effectively and efficiently deliver on either mandates. 
 
Key Performance Areas: Provide an effective administrative support service to the Regional Director. Lead and direct the Regional SDBIP. Manage the Regions Finances, Supply Chain Risk, Audit and expenditure. Provide strategic support to the regional administration. Manage and support the units Human Capital Management. 
 
Leading Competencies: Ability to work with Executive and Senior Management of the CoJ, Municipal Entities and other stakeholders. Strategic Direction and Leadership; People Management; Financial Management; Change Leadership; Stakeholder Management; Conflict Management; Programmes and Projects Management. Ability to organise multiple high level tasks simultaneously. Facilitate and direct consultation with external stakeholders to ensure strategic outcomes. Facilitate stakeholder engagements.

Salary Range: R62 284.19 pm (basic salary excluding benefits) 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
 Grade 12/NQF level 4 plus BComm/Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or any equivalent at NQF level 7; 
 10 years’ professional experience in management support, public policy or corporate strategic planning including at least 5 years management experience within a government or private sector environment; 
 Strong understanding of MFMA; 
 Strong strategic analyzing abilities; 
 Computer literacy on SAP and other applicable systems; Microsoft Office Application – Word Excel and PowerPoint; and 
 Must have a valid drivers license Code 8. 
 
Primary Function: Direct and lead the development and implementation of Development Planning departments strategies and lead the strategic planning process for the department. To ensure the provision of strategic, analytical and administrative support as well as integrated business solution to enable the development Planning department to effectively and efficiently deliver on the departmental mandate. 
 
Key Performance Areas: Exercise oversight on departmental matters and focus on unit compliance and provide specialist advise to the department. Plan, organize, coordinate and direct Development Planning departments compliance and risk management processes. Ensure the department comply with the city’s performance management system by coordinating the departmental scorecard and ensuring that other employees of the department are performance managed in line with the citys performance management policy. Develop and timeous reporting of policy Procedures management. Lead stakeholder management and compliance. Ensure planning and development analysis. Manage and coach staff in the Regulation and Management Support directorate to ensure that all staff meet the departments objectives in line with broader organization objectives and requirements. Manage and monitor assets and resource of the directorate. Control, consolidate, analyze and submit various reliable reports. Practice good governance and management of risk.

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Human Resource Development (HRD)/Social Science/Business Management at NQF level 7; 
 6 - 8 years’ experience in the Human Resource Development field in either the Public or Private sector, of which 4 years’ experience must be on middle management level; 
 Formulation of Human Resource Development Strategy, Human Resource Development policies and processes; 
 Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, Public Services Environment, Skills Development Act, Skills Development Levies Act, South African Qualifications Act, Employment Equity Act, Municipal Finance Management Act, Administration Procedures, Labour Legislation (LLA, BCEA), National Youth Commission Act;

 Knowledge of desktop publishing, digital printing, book binding and lithographic printing; and 
 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience in printing. 
 
Primary Function: Provide a professional printing, duplication, binding and cutting services to the City of Johannesburg in line with relevant City Policies. 
 
Key Performance Areas: Render desk top publishing in line with client expectations. Perform specific tasks associated with the stripping up of film onto Clear base and making of litho plates for the printing process, Perform specific activities associated with printing which include cutting of printing material to specified dimensions, specific activities associated with printing and duplicating, bookbinding and folding activities as per the work ticket. Perform machine routine inspection and maintenance. Perform administrative recording, reporting and recordkeeping activities/tasks associated with printing, such as binding, collating, stitching, folding, sorting and packaging. Operate digital machines. Comply with all relevant legislations in a print production environment. Perform job related administrative duties and all ad hoc duties.
