Designation: Deputy Director: Unit Support
Annual Total Rem Package: R871 842.92 (all-inclusive cost to company)
Appointment Requirements:
• Degree in any Social Science discipline / Administration (NQF Level 7); or
• Suitably qualified candidates as defined by Section 20(3) of the EE Act will be considered;
• Seven (7) – nine (9) years’ experience in Local Government / political environment.
• Five (5) years’ experience in the management position.
• Computer literacy (MS Office).
Primary function: Provide administrative support to the Chairs of Chairs sub- section by ensuring adherence to annual strategic objectives and overseeing the daily operational function of the office
Key Performance Areas: The oversight role ensures a good and coordinated office operations and procedure. Provide leadership and guidance. Maintenance of office records. Oversight on the office efficiency. Strategic operation intervention. Financial Management. Manage and coordinate internal and external research work conducted by the cluster coordinators for the cluster committees by giving guidance and advice, in order to increase knowledge and to enhance oversight and scrutiny.
