PERMANENT POSITIONS
1. Department: Group Finance
Branch: Customer Relations Services Centre
Designation: Driver
Salary Range: R10 553.63 pm (basic salary excluding benefits)
Appointment Requirements:
• Grade 12/NQF level 4 is required;
• 1-year driving experience;
• Must have a valid driver’s license code C1 and PDP; and
• Good knowledge of route, suburbs and cities.
Primary Function: Perform tasks/activities associated with transportation of work material/equipment visitors and employees to and from worksites as and when required. The position will also undertake tasks associated with collection, batching and distribution of mail and other related administrative support services.
Key Performance Areas: Collect good agendas parcels and other related activities that enable proper functioning of the department. Undertake specific tasks/activities that are associated with the provision of support.
Leading Competencies: Must be able to work night shift as and when required.

2. Department: Group Finance

Designation: Customer Relationship Agent
Salary Range: R15 130.73 pm (basic salary excluding benefits)
Appointment Requirements:
• Grade 12/NQF level 4 is required.
• 2 years’ previous experience in Customer services environment.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); Good communication; Knowledge of SAP and Data entry skills required.
• Basic knowledge of debts collection, call center collections, customer service or credit management.
• Knowledge of local government will be an added advantage.
• On call/standby and shift environment.
Primary Function: Provide an efficient Customer service by resolving a minimum of 90% of customer queries on first contact, while meeting or exceeding targets set by the Revenue & Customer Relationship Management (R&CRM) department. Work effectively and harmoniously as a team to help create and encourage an environment of mutual respect and trust with management, colleagues and customers alike. Ensure efficient and effective resolution of queries to internal and external customers of the City of Johannesburg. Provide a high level Contact Centre experience both telephonically and written.
Key Performance Areas: Continuously improving ad maximizing revenue collection in addressing queries. Logging all queries into SAP CRM according to the set standards. Efficiently processing application and quotations. Maintain a sound customer relation and improving customer experience. Provide area debtors with the full process applicable to payments arrangements. Liaise and collaborate with other RSSC units for speedy flow of information to ensure efficiency and timeous delivery of service to customers. Administration and record- keeping of all sourced of all sourced and other substantive documents for perusal and actioning by relevant stakeholder. Effectively build. Manage and maintain stakeholder relations with internal business units, entities, management and peers to enable smooth collaborations and flow of information. Implement good governance and effective risk management systems. Asset and resources (material and tools management). Provide factual operational quality reports on the functions and performance within the area of responsibility which are accurate and complete; timely; and contribute to and support the overall reporting requirements of the unit.

Appointment Requirements:

Primary Function: Responsible for the development of COJ’s \ Strategies and lead the strategic planning and financial forecasting process.
Key Performance Areas: The City of Johannesburg is looking for Director Financial Strategy Panning to oversee financial formulation to inform the City‘s planning processes. Develop and ensure implementation of financial strategy to guide City’s overall operations to meet its objectives. Forecasts funding availability over a long-term period to support operational plans ad capital programs. Monitoring of the City’s Financial performance including calculation of financial ratios, consideration of financing of operation inclusive of Capex budget. Facilitate development and timeous reporting of financial performance. Lead stakeholder management, compliance and foster good governance. As part of team management, the Director is expected to manage and coach staff in pursuit of departments’ objectives in line with broader organizational objectives and requirements. Provide effective risk management and governance oversight.

Primary Function: Create relevant content for target audiences by making use of professional video recording and editing equipment and to produce video/documentaries that are edited digitally and streamed for variety of uses across various communication platforms. This includes the delivery of all round technical and functional audio-visual production support as well as ensuring the optimal functionality of the video equipment within the department.
Key Performance Areas: Creating professional video products for a variety of clients and audiences and working with clients to understand their requirements and providing support throughout the production process. Providing technical skills and support in operating and maintaining proper levels and calibration of video cameras, and other production equipment. Developing and maintaining an appropriate logging system for all video material; both raw and edited.
Leading Competencies: Technical knowledge of digital processes and of all camera and production equipment including post-production software packages. Knowledge of the latest trends in the audio-visual digital content production fields.
