SHORT TERM CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT - (STC) 
 
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Group Corporate and Shared Services Department has the following short-term contract opportunities for a period NOT exceeding three (3) months. 
 
 
 
The details are as follows: 
 
1. Department: Group Corporate and Shared Services 
Branch: Group SHELA and FCM 
Designation: Occupational Health Professional Nurse 
Salary Range: R27 864.81 pm (basic salary excluding benefits) 
 
Appointment Requirements: 
• 4-year comprehensive Nursing diploma (NQF level 6). 
• 1 -3 years in clinical experience; 
• Basic knowledge of interpersonal relations, and customer relations. 
• Computer literacy 
 
Primary Function: Conducting of medical surveillance as per departments, Regions and Municipal owned entities. Conducting and control the activities, procedures and outcome associated with implementation of the Occupational Health unit. 
 

Key Performance Areas: Consults and provide information and treatment to employees as per the Occupational Health Act, procedures and protocols. Coordinate specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with operational key performance and result indicators. 
 
Leading Competencies: Be able to tolerate stress and confidentiality. 
 
Core Competencies: Counseling, Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel); Good Communication and Listening skills.
