DIRECTOR: MANAGEMENT SUPPORT 
Department: Citizen Relationship and Urban Management (CRUM)

Remuneration: R71 274.46 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits) 
Location: Traduna, 118 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein
 
Minimum Requirements: 
• Grade 12 plus a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Public Administration /Business Leadership / Business Management or related degree (NQF level 7); 
• 10 years' overall working experience of which 5 years must be at middle management level in local government, public sector, similar or large enterprise; 
• Understanding of City Strategy and Departmental Strategic Planning Frameworks and Approaches-: 
➢ Administrative capacity and leadership 
➢ Stakeholder management savvy and sensitivity 
➢ Business planning processes, systems and approaches 
➢ Development of turnaround strategies 
➢ Statistical analyses 
➢ Strategy development and execution

• Proven track record of providing a strategic support service at an executive or similar level; 
• Experience in compiling strategies and managing budgets; 
• Previous experience in National Provincial / Local Government Policy, Legislation and protocols would be advantageous; 
• Business administration, public administration, or a closely related field and fiscal management experience involving payroll, purchasing, and budgeting and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 
• Code 8 Valid driver’s license. 
 
Primary Function:
To provide a comprehensive management function to the Office of the Group Head CRUM, Regional Directors and other Heads of Units on Business Planning, Strategic Management, Performance Management, Finance, Human Capital Management and Administrative functions of the department towards ensuring that the Department achieves its departmental goals and objectives. Interact and liaise with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as filing and record management systems, and other office procedures and terminology
