REMUNERATION: R44 693,36 pm (basic salary, excluding benefits)
LOCATION: Metropolitan Centre, 158 Civic Boulevard, Braamfontein
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4);
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related qualification in the Discipline in HRM at NQF level 7;
- 5 – 7 years’ relevant experience in SAP HCM system and Human Resources Management as well as 3 years of Transactional/Payroll systems or Human Capital Management value chain either in the public or private sector;
- Ability to supervise a team will be an advantage;
- Exposure to the SAP Human Capital Management System.
Primary Function:
Manage activities and tasks involved in the creation, generation, enhancement and management of an effective payroll support service to HCM Field Managers, as well as the Transactional Input capturing team, through the implementation of HCM policies and practices to enhance the smooth operation of the SAP HCM System. Provide in-depth assistance on numerical aspects that are clearly financial to ensure compliance with the MFMA by mitigating any risks of underpayments, overpayments and wrong payments. Ensure employees are paid accurately and timeously to comply with tax regulations and to maintain employee satisfaction and legal compliance.
Key Performance Areas:
- Undertake medium and short-term strategic and tactical business planning for FTSS and GCSS;
- Assist with the management of the departmental strategic and operational risk registers;
- Manage the implementation of procedures and dissemination of information associated with Transactional Business processes and current and relevant policies and in line with the Human Resources Shared Services strategy;
- Direct and control a team of capturing payroll input, processing and quality assuring outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity and performance of personnel within the HRSS Transactional Services division;
- Manage and control the professional, technical and operational outcomes related to transactions on the HCM SAP system;
- Manage the implementation of procedures and systems associated with controlling document flow and quality systems/statutory and audit requirements regulating record keeping;
- Distribute communication aimed at creating awareness and/or detailing unit interventions and outcomes and seeking acknowledgement;
- Financial management and control of all transactions and payroll activities within the Transactions team under his/her control and as captured within the team.
