Job description: The successful candidate will provide comprehensive and innovative litigation management tor the City by defending and instituting complex and contentious litigation cases, and manage these through the litigation process in accordance with the policy and procedures in place. Job description: The successful candidate will establish, lead, direct, plan and Wand the Group and COJ functions in respect of Employee Relations. He/she will be responsible for financial control and management of the unit (including Capex/Opex), will provide and lead guidance en labour relations issues across the City and its Municipal Entities, as well as provide and implement the City's and its Municipal Entities strategic labour relations directions. It will be his/her responsibility to ensure labour stability through establishment and maintenance of collective bargaining structures across the City and its MES, as well as compliance with labour legislation and collective agreements in the local government sector.
