Designation: Records Officer
Salary: R22 215.52 pm (basic salary excluding benefits)
Appointment Requirements:
Grade 12 and a relevant Diploma (NQF level 6) is required;
1 - 2 years’ work related experience in respect of filing/retrieval processes and Archive Management;
Skills required: computer literate (MS Word and Excel), communication (verbal and written) office administration, attention to detail; and
Knowledge of Archive Act; committee systems and decisions recording processes.
Primary Function: To ensure that adequate and effective record keeping services are maintained in terms of the National Archives Act.

Designation: Assistant Director: Economics
Salary Range: R43 684.21 pm (basic salary excluding benefits)
Appointment Requirements:
Degree in Economics or Econometrics, Honours degree or above (NQF level 7);
6 - 8 years’ experience in an economic research environment;
Good understanding of research methodology, competency in quantitative and qualitative economic analysis;
Ability to identify and present key findings and deliver concise, well written reports and presentation material to tight deadlines;
Familiarity with sources of socio-economic and economic data;
Understanding of key government economic priorities and policies;
Familiarity with specialised economic analysis and modelling software (e.g. Eviews) would be an advantage;
Computer literacy, coordinating, business management skills; and
Strong liaison and report writing skills.
Primary Function: Provide specialist expertise and capacity in the Directorate Economic Policy and Planning for assessment and reporting on the socio-economic and economic performance and outlook for the City of economic development.
Key Performance Areas: Analyse socio-economic and economic data and produce reports on the characteristics, structure, status and performance of the City economy to make insights available for City planning and decision making. Build and maintain strong relations with internal and external business units, entities and key stakeholders. Produce and monitor reports on the state, dynamics and performance of the City economy and the national and international context. Comply with City staff management and line manager requirements as articulated in the City performance management system in order to achieve sub-unit outputs.
Leading Competencies: Strategic Management, People Management, Stakeholder Management and Decision Making and Project Management.

Appointment Requirements:
Matric Certificate plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Organisational Development/Management Services/Organisational Psychology/Business Administration or any qualification in the Organisational Development related field at NQF level 7;
4-8 years' overall experience in the Organizational Development discipline in a professional capacity;
Work-study and work methods skills;
Business process management and reengineering skills;

This role involves examining both big-picture aspects of businesses and smaller components of their structure and operation to identify areas for improvement and introduce and resent new strategies with the ultimate aim of enabling the delivery of excellent sustainable services.
Key Performance Areas: Implement Organizational design and effectiveness interventions throughout the City. Assist with strategic planning exercise for client departments and Municipal Entities. Plan, lead and manage organizational Reviews for client departments. Keep abreast of development and changes. Facilitate change management of within City. Implement Workforce planning initiatives. Designation: Deputy Director: MISS Security Compliance

Appointment Requirements:
Grade 12 or Matric Certificate or National Certificate
NQF level 7, relevant Bachelor Degree on Social Sciences or equivalent qualification on Policing, Forensic Investigation, Security Management and Basic Vetting Course.
Registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) will be an added advantage.
Member of the Security Forum will be an added advantage.
State Security Agency, South African Police Service (SAPS), South African National Defence Force (SANDF) related course will be added advantage.
7 years of experience in risk, security management, MISS environment and/or related security related experience of which 3 years’ should be at management level within public service or private sector.
Completed SSA/SSAPS/South African National Defence Force (SANDF) MISS Course or should complete the course within one year of appointment.
Membership to relevant regulatory bodies will be an added advantage or should register for membership within one year or appointment.
Primary Function: Administering, managing and implementing City of Johannesburg Security Compliance initiatives in line with State Security Guidelines.
Key Performance Areas: Administer and manage the execution of Security Compliance function within the City. Develop, manage and Implement policies, guidelines, norms and standards with regards to Security Compliance. Stakeholder Management. Provide administrative support in relation to recruitment and procurement. To ensure accountability of managing resource, projects, handling vetting applications, requests and files.
