Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in IT or relevant equivalent NQF level 6 certificate
- Grade 12 or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 certificate
- 3-5 years' experience in human resources information systems / local government environment or similar environment
- Knowledge of ORACLE
- Knowledge of HRIS environment
- Computer literacy in Org Plus & Ms Office
- Communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Render a system support function to the Organisation by implementing Council Resolutions, updating organisational structures, schedules and the HRIS to ensure accurate information and data
- Preliminary preparation of draft reports regarding organisational structural changes to ensure proposed information and changes are implementable on the HRIS and are in line with approved Council Resolutions
- Implement approved Council Resolutions regarding organisational changes, arbitration awards and settlement agreements by using the HRIS and relevant software to ensure correct implementation and maintenance of organisational structures, schedules and the HRIS
- Perform special projects w.r.t. the HRIS for the organisation to ensure relevant system support project documentation
- Handle written and verbal enquiries regarding information on the organisational structures and HRIS to provide the organisation with up to date information and ensure correct information is provided to the organisation
- Administrate and maintain a record system to serve as an audit tool for the HRIS to ensure a complete databank for organisational changes

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 or relevant equivalent NQF Level 4 Certificate
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- 5 years' experience in a similar environment
- SAMTRAC
- Instructional Techniques in Safety
- A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all statutory appointments are made within Departments in order to assist the City Manager to comply with the relevant legislation
- Investigate all occupational injuries and diseases in terms of the OH&S Act and the COID Act in order to ensure that accidents, fatalities and diseases are recorded and reported to both the Department of Labour and the Compensation Commissioner
- Notify and advise Departmental management on any changes, modifications, additions and repeals pertaining to the OH&S Act and COID Act in order to ensure up to date compliance with relevant legislation
- Responsible for the facilitation, presentation and coordination of statutory training to all employees and OH&S representatives in order to ensure that everybody is informed and knows his/her responsibility in terms of the Act
- Liaise with Department of Labour, Compensation Commissioner and other institutions and organisations in order to comply with legislation in the interest of management and employees
- Responsible for the Occupational Health and Safety Operational Budget at Customer Care Centre Level in order to advise management on the operational expenditure
- Investigate vehicle related incidents in conjunction with other Departments to determine corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Liaise with the Compensation Commissioner on issues pertaining to changes, modifications additions or repeals in the Act in order to advise the Departments
