ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: KwaZulu Natal
(FIXED TERM CONTRACT UP TO 31 MARCH 2030)
An opportunity exists at the CHIETA head office for a Assistant Administrator on a fixed-term contract up to 31 March 2030. The incumbent in the positions will provide support to the Grants and Projects Business Unit. The position reports to the Regional Manager (KZN). Candidates who meet the requirements of the position are invited to apply.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a NQF 6 or diploma in business administration or related fields is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably within a SETA.
Key Performance Areas:
- Prepares the necessary administration and documents, and ensure they are processed / distributed / filed in a timely and orderly manner.
- Completes forms and sends to applicable stakeholders for approval.
- Ensure Quality Management System documentation is implemented and maintained within the Grants Unit.
- Ensures Workplace Skills Plans are submitted timeously by employers, follows up on late submissions.
- Ensures Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports complies with legislation and CHIETA policies.
- Performs a lead role in grant management projects.
- Tracks and monitors and reports on successes and challenges faced by current projects.
- Operates within controls and procedures in order to ensure the integrity of CHIETA.
- Reports risks or areas of concern to management within own operating area.
- Assists employees and strives to maintain effective working relationships.
- Identifies and solves problems within own operating area in line with CHIETA’S core values.
- Utilizes resources as allocated by CHIETA in a cost-effective manner to avoid unnecessary wasteful expenditure.
- Reports incidents to direct Manager.
