JOB PURPOSE:
The role focuses on providing functional management accounting support through accurate data preparation, reporting assistance, reconciliations, and analytical support, enabling effective in-year reporting, financial planning, budgeting and group consolidation activities under supervision.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Matric and National Certificate (NQF 5) in accounting or equivalent qualification.
- One-year relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience within a Public sector, State -Owned Entity (SOE), or complex group environment will serve as an added advantage.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in accounting or equivalent qualification will serve as an added advantage.

Data Preparation and Reconciliations
- Prepare financial data, schedules, and supporting documentation for management accounting purposes.
- Perform reconciliations between systems, reports, and source documentation.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to management accountants.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly in-year management accounts.
- Support variance analysis by preparing supporting schedules and data extracts.
- Update reporting templates and dashboards as required.
- Assist with the compilation of budget and forecast data from business units.

JOB PURPOSE:

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Environmental Sciences / Health and Safety / Engineering/ Quality Management or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing a SHEQ department.
- Registration with a professional body is required.

- Oversee the Environmental Officer in conducting impact assessments, managing environmental risks and compliance reporting
- Manage and support the Occupational Nurse in implementing employee wellness, occupational health surveillance and injury case management
- Guide and review the Safety Officer’s implementation of health and safety standards, risk assessments, emergency planning and incident investigations

Human Capital Data Quality & Governance
- Validate the completeness, accuracy and consistency of all departmental data submitted for reporting.
- Identify data anomalies, gaps, duplications or inaccuracies; conduct root-cause analysis; and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain master datasets and ensure single source of truth across all CS functions.
- Develop and maintain processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across Corporate Services units.

The Refinery Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing physical security, investigations, cybersecurity, and information protection at the refinery and CEF strategic installation classified as a National Key Point. This role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, and sensitive information through strategic security operations, incident investigations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Matric and National Diploma (NQF6) in Security Management or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in Security environment of which 3 years must have been a Security guard.
- PSIRA (grade A) certificate

The Mandate of CEF is to contribute to the security of energy supply of South Africa and the Region through exploration, acquisition, development, marketing and strategic partnership. It is derived from the CEF Act (No 38 of 1977) and the Ministerial directives issued thereafter.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Facilities Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day maintenance of our facilities at the refinery and ensure safety and physical condition.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Facilities Management/Administration /Business Administration/ Logistics/ Contracts Management or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required.
- Valid South African driver’s license required.
- A bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Facilities Management/Administration /Business Administration/ Logistics/ Contracts Management or equivalent will serve as an added advantage.
DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
- Familiarity with building management software and facilities management systems
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, and water backup systems etc
- Knowledge of property management regulations, zoning requirements, and construction standards

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Coordination of facilities management services
- Oversee daily operations of soft services: cleaning, grounds maintenance, pest control, waste management, catering, mailing, and utilities.
- Administration and coordination of the Facilities Management contracts;
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of work.
- Coordinate facility inspections and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize facility performance.
- Oversee cleanliness of all buildings within the Refinery
- Responsible for the management of the Refinery Facilities Management Contracts Register & monitoring of contracts thereafter
- Responsible for drafting scope of work in line with the Refinery needs on Facilities Management support
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Regularly evaluate service provider performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
- Validate and audit municipal utility accounts.
- Liaise with municipalities on billing issues and / discrepancies
- Monthly capture the consumption data for water & electricity
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and internal safety protocols.
- Ensure contractors are inducted for providing services at the Refinery
- Conduct monthly inspections and maintain quality assurance records.
- Oversee the company’s fleet operations and ensure optimal usage and maintenance.
- Maintain asset registers and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of facilities operations, including budgets, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly facilities performance reports for submission to the Group Facilities Manager.
