CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO SERVE AS COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR CAPRICORN TVET COLLEGE
Capricorn Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College invites suitably qualified candidates to serve as additional external members of the Council in terms of section 10 (6) and 10 (4) (d) of the Continuing Education and Training (CET) Act 16 of 2006 (as amended).
Position: Additional External Council Members X 4
Term of Office: Five (5) years
Remuneration: As per the tariffs approved by Department of Higher Education and Training
Requirements: Applicants should have comprehensive knowledge and relevant qualifications (NQF Level 8 or above) in Finance; Infrastructure; Audit and Risk; Information and Communication Technology; Governance and Strategy. Previous experience serving on a Council; at least 5 years' experience in a senior position as well as experience in corporate governance. Preference will be given to candidates residing within Capricorn District Municipality.
Position: Donor
Term of Office: Five (5) years
Remuneration: As per the tariffs approved by Department of Higher Education and Training
Requirements: A South African Citizen or a Company incorporated under the South African laws; be registered with the South African Revenue Service (SARS); must have previously donated a greater value in proportion of movable and/or immovable assets; not be under any investigation for money-related transactions; not be under administration / insolvency proceedings / business rescue proceedings; and must not have conflict of interest with the College or should not be conducting any other business with the College.
