ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER (FOUR (4) POSTS)
Salary: R341 532 – R443 340 per annum
Post level: T12
Centre and reference: Two (2) positions Ceres (184 and 229)
Two (2) positions Robertson (225 and 226)
Job Profile: • Delivering effective municipal health services in accordance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.
Requirements: • National Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent • Successful completion of the compulsory one-year community service • Successful completion of Peace Officer training will serve as a recommendation • Proof of current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Independent Practitioner • Relevant experience • Valid Code B driver’s licence • Excellent communication skills in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape Province • Computer literacy • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills • Ability to function effectively in stressful situations.
