Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional analysis of warehousing systems to identify business requirements and define functional specifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to design and implement warehousing solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct testing and validation of warehousing systems to ensure they are working effectively.
  • Collaborate with end-users to identify issues and develop solutions that address their needs.
  • Ensure documentation and training materials are up-to-date to support end-users and future system changes.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in warehousing technology.
  • Perform and assume technical leadership for the configuration, with support from 3rd party vendors
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced staff and contribute to the improvement of his/her team’s capability
 
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in functional analysis of warehousing systems in retail.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing operations in retail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description
Our Finance Team is looking for a dynamic and extremely capable candidate who has the ability to work both independently and with others. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Processing invoices and credit notes on the system
  • Reconciling and matching invoices and credits processed on system to supplier statement. Any discrepancies to be actioned accordingly. Checking system integration.
  • Loading supplier payments in the Banking system and accounting cashbooks, ensuring all the information is accurate and complete
  • Liaising with buyers, stores and suppliers
  • Filing weekly
 
Requirements:
  • A Finance related qualification (advantageous)
  • A minimum of three years’ experience as a creditors clerk (advantageous)
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel (intermediate to advance)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Previous exposure to an ERP system

Job Description
The Systems Administrator for POS / OMNI will provide effective maintenance and support (including out of hours) for the applications and systems in the POS / OMNI area of responsibility. The Systems Administrator will also participate in system configuration, testing, and documentation to meet business requirements within the product scope according to Cape Union Mart Group best practices.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To be responsible for technical support of the POS / OMNI systems, through the effective resolution of incidents and problems, including after-hours standby and support where necessary
  • Work effectively in a diverse team environment and create effective relationships for problem-solving and positive interactions.
  • To participate in requirements analysis, solution mapping, configuration, and documentation to meet business requirements.
  • To identify the root cause of issues through trend and patterns analysis and recommend appropriate solutions for long term solutions.
  • Work with Development and Engineering teams to design and test Point of Sale (POS) software releases and OMNI Systems for deployment and to ensure smooth code rollouts.
  • To be responsible for the definition and execution of test plans and procedures, to ensure the successful implementation of system changes
  • To administer technical administration and configuration, with support from 3rd party vendors.
  • Work with team members to configure, implement, monitor, and maintain QA and production environments.
  • To perform admin and housekeeping for the systems
  • To design and develop bespoke features in MSSQL, PL/SQL
  • To assist in end-user training
 
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Technical or Related Tertiary Qualification
  • 1 to 2 years' experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • 1 to 2 years' experience with MSSQL.
  • Experience providing Tier 2/3 customer support in an IT environment.
  • Knowledge of databases and using SQL tools to interrogate data.
  • Experience providing remote support and troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creative product development of fashionable, yet commercial product ranges and appropriate route to market strategies
  • Critical Path, order management and range execution in alignment with the business objectives
  • Range preparation, coordination and presentation
  • Presenting range reviews, post seasonal and marketing briefs
  • Drive continuous progression of sourcing new suppliers and new products with both a local and international mindset
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and the successful onboarding of new suppliers
  • Building and maintaining persuasive and impactful relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders 
  • Effectively collaborating with the relevant stakeholders and departments to support your categories to optimal performance.
  • Overseeing the Product Quality and Suitability
  • Controlling sample stock through effective OTB management and active trading, linked to product performance
  • General buying administrative functions
  • Project manage across e-commerce, marketing, store communication and merchandise to ensure timely exposure of appropriate products  
 
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 certificate and a relevant tertiary qualification is required
  • 3-5 years of retail merchandise buying experience is essential
  • Experience working in a homeware or clothing retail environment is advantageous
  • Nice to have experience in any of these categories: Bath & Body (wellness), Furniture, Gifting, Décor
  • Working knowledge of the retail cycle and merchandise buying principles and processes
  • A working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages is required.
