DEBUT PROGRAMME ADMINISTRATOR
REPORTING LINE : PROGRAMMES MANAGER
LOCATION : JOHANNESBURG
CONTRACT TYPE : FIXED PERIOD (12 MONTHS)
HOURS : 40 HOURS

 
Business and Arts South Africa NPC (BASA) is seeking a Debut Programme Administrator to join our team for a fixed period of 12 months. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the arts sector in South Africa. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who has experience in managing youth arts programmes and can efficiently manage various administrative tasks.
 
Required Minimum Education / Training
  • Relevant qualification in Arts Administration or Arts Management preferred
  • More than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in multiple South African languages
  • Passion and commitment to the cultural sector
  • Excellent work ethic and strong administrative skills
  • Well-versed in key digital/social platforms
 
Role Summary
  • Coordinate logistics, planning, and reporting for the BASA Debut Programme projects and activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support facilitators and provincial liaisons in planning, implementing, and reporting on workshops and related events.
  • Lead communication with Debut Programme participants regarding training, workshops, and related matters.
  • Liaise between Debut Programme stakeholders and service providers working on curriculum, training, and facilitation.
  • Assist the research team with reporting, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for the Debut programmes.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for BASA programmes.
