​LECTURER: HOSPITALITY & CATERING SERVICES
 
Requirements
  1. At least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13)
  2. Qualified to lecture in the relevant subjects
  3. At least 2 years’ educational experience
  4. Experience in Blended learning, i.e., innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
  5. Ability to teach in English
  6. Proven computer training in MS Office
  7. Good administrative skills
  8. Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  9. Ability to assess and moderate
  10. A valid driver’s license
 
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing the following subjects and/or any other subjects if required:
  1. Catering Practicals N5
  2. Catering Theory N5
 
Recommendations
  1. Qualification in education and training
  2. Registration as an Assessor/Moderator
  3. TVET Sector experience
  4. Multilingualism will be an advantage
  5. Participate in Lecturer Workplace Experience
  6. SACE registration
