MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Scope of responsibility
Project planning and realization of measures to maintain or improve equipment or system performance (repairs, continuous improvements/ optimizations, & new installations, etc.). Includes multiple conveyor technologies, monitoring/information systems, and all process equipment in the technology. Design and development of maintenance process, equipment, and systems. Manages maintenance key performance indicators for the department. Generates proposals for technical specifications, request for quotations, and SLA (Service level agreements). Determines root cause for equipment/system performance gaps and the optimum solutions regarding costs, quality, ergonomics, technical innovation, and environment. Planning of maintenance measures (repairs, maintenance, fault recertification, alterations, optimizations, component detachments, etc.) from identification through realization to improve equipment reliability and performance. Delivery and/or updates of Preventative Maintenance plans, documentation (electronic and hard copy), and spare parts including min/max levels. Development measures and concepts for the further development and stabilization of existing maintenance processes. Ensures all assigned projects are on schedule and at or under approved budget (Assembly variance to budget). Collaborates with internal and external process partners and suppliers. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibility of the function
- To ensure the successful and timeous completion of all PM’s required to ensure maximum availability and runtime for the production equipment.
- Responsible to ensure spares are returned to the stores as to ensure availability in the maintenance storeroom.
- Create and maintain an accurate equipment register in accordance with the plant wide standard and the specific requirements of the department concerned.
- To ensure that spares, consumables, and tools required to perform maintenance are available when needed.
- To create and maintain a preventative maintenance program for equipment considering the requirements of the OHS Act, the ISO 9001 and 14001, OSHAS 18001 series of standards, product standards as well as what is economically and practically viable.
- Accountable and responsible for Planning, Control, Organising and leading Maintenance Activities. Establish required team, set objectives, task timing, evaluate SHE aspects and controlling of overhead budget.
- To assign maintenance work in the most economical way possible, accurately record necessary information and adhere to the work order procedure.
- To administrate and manage the working hours of all the maintenance personnel in your area of responsibility.
- To assist superior in compiling necessary maintenance reports and to present results when necessary.
- Ensure continuous improvement of quality on maintenance tasks and plant availability.

Qualifications and Experience
- National Engineering Diploma – N6(Mechanical or Electrical)
- The equivalent of 5+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing role or maintenance technician role or maintenance planning role.
Work Experience
· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
· 5+ years maintenance experience (preventive maintenance practices, shutdown/start-up management, mechanical/electrical).
· 5+ years problem solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

MANAGER: CORPORATE, DIRECT AND SPECIAL SALES.
The main purpose of the function is to ensure that the manager steers the department to maximize sales through the different channels. The manager is also required to ensure that enough support is provided to the department to grow the business by steering sales and marketing activities to drive sales. This function is also required to successfully steer the business relationship between Direct Sales, NSC Finance and Financial Services. The role is also required to actively manage the corporate annual budget and ensure that spend is tracked according to the budget plan and Cost of Retail. In terms of sales the role is also required to support the sales targets by actively seeking to close deals with customers when required in support of the team in terms of achieving the annual sales targets and Cost of Retail measures. The role is also responsible to ensure full compliance when dealing with customers which includes pricing, contracting, invoicing, and retailing.
- Defines and implements short-term and long-term development corporate strategy to achieve profitable volume contribution to BMW, MINI and Motorrad.
- Responsible for proposing and agreeing with customers the annual forecast upfront where possible.
- Ensure pricing from a risk and lease perspective is covered and planned for the quarter to ensure the best possible planning.

- Ensure that all support is given to redefine and grow the direct channel and ensure that proper assessment of the marketplace is made and that where possible the department can act swiftly to develop an outstanding offering for the customer base relative to the competition.
- Adapts Corporate strategy and planning to rapidly changing market conditions including ‘hyper-competition’ and competitor downward re-positioning, which requires constant analysis and recommendations to secure the most optimum combination of sales volumes and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Honours / Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or Finance. A Master’s degree would be beneficial.
- Managerial experience of 4 years leading a high performing team (preferable within a multinational company).
- At least 5 years of operational sales experience with a good understanding of the product knowledge and experience with dealing within a direct sales model.
- Experience in the automotive industry (sales, marketing) would be beneficial.
- Ideally experience in sales with an NSC is desirable.
- Retail/dealer experience/working knowledge required.
- Leading a channel or business unit of a large team would be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, SAP
- High analytical skills and the ability to conclude large fleet deals to a small group of customers.
