SPECIALIST: JUNIOR ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC ENGINEER

 

What awaits you?

  • Collect, validate, and align requirements for components in new product line and motor projects; ensure agreement of T-requirements with the Development Department and the process integrator for all assigned processes and systems.
  • Plan, optimize, and continuously improve commissioning and testing equipment and basic systems within the scope of responsibility; drive ongoing development of related plants, processes, and equipment.
  • Lead the Production Capability assessment (Cpk) and manage the handover to production (HN); ensure timely delivery of Cpk results and readiness for production ramp-up.
  • Guarantee on-time implementation and maintenance of process descriptions in the construction planning system (ZMD), including documentation for commissioning and testing equipment; oversee equipment availability and defect elimination within the process.
  • Develop, specify, plan, implement, and document plant engineering and associated test knowledge to ensure robust and efficient processes per project assignment; standardize, pilot, and implement system technology and integrate it into the involved plants as required by the project.
  • Plan, implement, and document the responsible test knowledge for current derivatives and new derivatives; support functional specialists and process integrators in defining, positioning, optimizing, and adapting test knowledge for derivatives and model-year measures; maintain assigned TVGs in alignment with Fachteam agreements.
  • Actively participate in Fachteam activities, including network tasks and front-end/back-end responsibilities as needed; ensure test knowledge adjustments for current derivatives, maintaining accuracy and commonality across locations.

 

What should you bring along?

  • B.Eng Electrical/Electronic engineering or B.Tech Electronic engineering 
  • Strong IT-Knowledge/Background. 
  • 3-5 years experience in quality and project steering in teams.
  • 3-5 years experience in the motor industry.
  • Technical experience with BMW vehicles.
  • Electrical analysis, minimum 3 years.
  • Knowledge of E/E automotive board net architecture and ECUs. Programming abilities will be advantageous.

Join our dynamic team as a STARD Administrator, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our warehouse SAP systems while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance operational excellence. With a focus on continuous improvement and problem resolution, you'll contribute to the innovative processes that drive the production of the new generation BMW X3 at our electrified plant in Rosslyn.

  • Ensure warehouse SAP data integrity and support stable warehouse system performance.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse master data following series introductions and process changes.
  • Investigate, resolve, and escalate SAP Warehouse Management (WM) system queries and errors.
  • Act as a liaison between Warehouse Operations, IT, and Material Planning to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Manage and resolve outstanding warehouse movements, confirmations, and transfer order discrepancies.
  • Monitor receiving and supply-related exceptions, including air freight, sea freight, ASN, and interim receiving issues.
  • Initiate corrective actions related to bounced parts, quarantine stock, flash stock, phantom parts, E-Hold, and B-Hold processes.
  • Monitor open transfer orders and ensure timely escalation of ageing transactions.
  • Support inventory control through variance investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Support testing, implementation, and training of new warehouse-related processes and system enhancements.
  • Maintain user manuals, process documentation, and training material for warehouse operations.
  • Monitor and maintain operational KPIs at target and shift level.
  • Support warehouse and line supply operations through systems administration and problem resolution.

 

What should you bring along?

  • National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-year professional experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and physical logistics processes.
  • Advanced SAP certification will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics systems, and process enhancements.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage competing priorities.
