SENIOR MANAGER,RISK AND COMPLIANCE

Mission: The purpose is to champion embed good Corporate Governance through provision of an efficient, effective and comprehensive Enterprise-Wide Risk Management, SHE() Management, Insurance Management, License and Permits Management System for Autopax and its departmental units,
 
Key Results Areas: • Enhance corporate governance within Autopax, by developing and overseeing the approval, implementation and review of the Autopax Enterprise Wide Risk Management Policy and Framework • Facilitate strategic risk assessment workshops between Management and the Board to identify and mitigate against risks that will prevent the business from achieving its objectives as outlined in the business plan and the shareholders compact • Maintain and execute an Enterprise Wide Risk Management strategic plan which is in line with the business plan, annual performance plan and the shareholders compact • Report and escalate Enterprise Wide Risk Management • Coordinate internal and external audits on the Enterprise Wide Risk Management system conducted quarterly by PRASA Group Internal Audit and annually by the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) 
• Apply the Combined Assurance Model to provide a coordinated approach to all assurance activities which is in compliance with King III and aligned to integrated reporting • Stakeholder relations with internal and external stakeholders • Enhance corporate governance within Autopax, by developing and overseeing the approval, implementation and review of the Autopax Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management Policy andFramework • Implement a SHEQ management system which is compliant with OHSAS 18001 • Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships with Internal and External Audit, Compliance and Governance functions within PRASA Group to enhance SHEQ.
 
Skills: • Advanced business communication skills enabling verbal and written communication at all levels • The ability to perform the administrative functions attached to a specific job such as correspondence, documentation management and general administration • Sound knowledge of the different business systems, associate applications and the interrelationship among the organisation's business systems • Sound knowledge and understanding of safety and quality management, the systems and processes involved, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements • Sound knowledge and understanding of insurance principles, management, systems and processes involved, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements.
 
Minimum Requirements: • A 3-year relevant Flick Management qualification at Degree or Diploma level anda Business Management Qualification • 5-10 years' experience in Risk, Insurance and SHEQ Management• The ability to use knowledge of administrative techniques, tools, policies and/or procedures to enable effective administration, as well as the ability to analyse situations and to arrive at the best possible solution.
